We are a breeder of Miniature Australian Shepherds, located in the beautiful mountains of Northern Idaho. We are members of the MASCUSA, ASDR, NSDR, and AKC. Our focus is to better the breed with confirmation, good genetics and temperament. Beauty is an added bonus! The puppies are raised around children, chickens, horses, cattle and other dogs. The dogs are a part of our family. We are very pleased with our Mini Aussies. They love to play ball and love our children! Our goal is to provide you with a happy healthy puppy that will be your family member for years to come, but also one that you can be proud to show off! The Miniature Australian Shepherd breed started in the 1960's in California when a woman started to breed her smaller Australian Shepherds and was pleased with the results. Mini Aussies should have the same quality/character/traits of the regular Australian Shepherds, only smaller... and quality is our goal here at Rockin R! The Mini Aussie is officially called the Miniature American Shepherd at AKC. We are in the process of changing all our pedigrees to AKC. The breed standard is 14-18'' to the top of the shoulder. Weight is 20-40 pounds.
We only have 2-3 litters a year, so check our puppy page and see what we have. We have a 1 year guarantee on all our puppies. They come with current vaccinations, vet check, and 2-3 dewormings.
We are blessed to be able to own and breed these wonderful dogs who have so many abilities; whether its working dog, family companion, agility, breeding or show.
